More MSHS "champions" to share with you! The following students have qualified to compete in the FBLA Virtual National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California this summer. SAVANNAH CHANCE received 1st place in State for Intro to Business Communications and RACHEL DAVIS received 1st place in State for Agribusiness. Congratulations!!!

Parents/Guardians,
As most of you know, Governor Asa Hutchinson has lifted the mask mandate for the state of Arkansas effective March 30. However, the Arkansas Department of Education is leaving it up to individual school boards to continue or discontinue the use of masks in the school. We have created a survey to get your input on the continued usage of masks for the Mammoth Spring School District. Your input will help the Ready for Learning Committee make a recommendation to the school board on this issue. You should make your submission no later than noon, Wednesday, April 7.

Dear MSHS Parents/Guardians,
Next week begins our state testing in the High School (7th - 10th grades). Testing will take place each morning, Monday through Friday beginning at 8:00 am. Testing should not last more than an hour and a half each day. Possibly shorter on some mornings.
The administration and faculty would like to present an incentive for the students to attend each day of testing and encourage them to do their best on this test.
Testing Incentive:
*For those students who were present for EACH day of testing, they will be exempt from their semester finals.
*Those students will also get a morning at the Mammoth Spring State Park on May 19th from 8:30 to 12:30. Lunch will be provided along with Spring Dipper Ice Cream.
**If a student is absent for a test session, they will have to stay at school and take their semester finals on that day. So please encourage your child to attend each testing day!
Remind your child to eat a good breakfast and get a good night’s rest next week so they will be fueled and ready to do their best!! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 625-7212.
Sincerely,
Mary C Holland
Mammoth Spring High School Principal

Senior High Beta is raffling 2 sides of beef (processed roughly around the beginning of August) to help pay for our trip to the National Convention in June. We are selling tickets for $20 and we are limiting the number of tickets sold to 250. We will draw the winning tickets as soon as we sell all 250, which will give the winners time to come up with the room to store the beef in their freezers! Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Please contact Anthony Collins at acollins@mssd.us with your purchase requests.

Congratulations to this week's Millionaire Club!

Our internet and phones are back online. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused any parents/guardians.

The Mammoth Spring School District is currently experiencing phone issues due to a state wide internet outage. Please be patient as we wait for the problem to be resolved. We will notify again when the issues are fixed.

Many have asked about Little League forms and if/when we will be sending them home. We are NOT sending forms home with students this year.
There will be a sign-up meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 5:30 PM in the Multi-Purpose Building. Please attend to sign up your children and for updated information concerning the league.
