🎉 What an exciting time at our Science Buddies 2026 Ball Run Challenge! 🧪
Students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test as they designed and built ball runs using only simple materials like paper and tape. The goal was simple—but challenging: create a track that would keep a ping pong ball moving for as long as possible from start to finish.
Along the way, students explored important science concepts like motion, energy, and friction, while also thinking like engineers—building, testing, and improving their designs. It was incredible to see the teamwork, innovation, and determination in every group!
We are so proud of all of our participants and the effort they put into this challenge. Congratulations to our winners:

We’re thankful for the paraprofessionals in our district who step in every day and do whatever it takes to help our students and teachers. Your work doesn’t go unnoticed, and we appreciate everything you do!

We’re proud of the strong ag program already in place and are looking for someone to continue building on that success by leading our school’s FFA Chapter, teaching ag classes in both the classroom and the shop, and providing students with hands-on experiences. You’ll also have access to our animal science facility and the flexibility to use it as you see fit.
Applicants must hold a current Arkansas teaching license (or be able to obtain one). We’re looking for someone who cares about our students and wants to keep a good program moving forward.
If you enjoy working with students and want to make an impact, this is a great opportunity in a supportive school and community.
Applications are available on the district's website at MammothSpringSchools.com. If you have questions, please contact the high school office at 870–625–7212.

Classes at Mammoth Spring School District will resume on Monday, March 30, 2026, at regular time.

Mammoth Spring School District will observe Spring Break from March 20 to March 29.
Enjoy some well-deserved time off, Bears! 💙
