
The Mammoth Spring golf team is accepting used golf clubs to keep on hand in case an athlete needs a replacement during their season. If you have any that you are willing to donate, please contact Coach Small at ssmall@mssd.us.


ACT ENRICHMENT classes are being held June 1st – 4th and June 7th - 11th at MSHS for students taking the ACT Test on June 12th. This year’s ACT Preparation includes intensive classes designed to identify and address the learning gaps created by COVID-19. Registration for these classes ends May 7th. Parents & students! A google form has been shared in your student's email to request next year's classes. Please fill out the form asap! There will be a time in early August for students to come up and make any necessary schedule changes before school starts.

SENIORS: Areawide Media is gearing up to publish the 2021 Tassel Time, which is their annual graduation special section highlighting our 12 area schools. Please check your email to find information and the link you will use to complete your information for this publication. (School name, Student name, Parent/Guardians' names, List of activities, clubs and sports you participated in during high school, and what are your post-graduation plans?) **The deadline to complete this form is April 28th and the section will be published May 12-13.

Many have asked about the parent survey we sent out regarding the mask mandate. We had 465 responses and the results were brought before the board for consideration at the meeting Monday evening. The graphic below shows the results from the survey.
10.5% (blue) - Students would be required to bring a mask to school every day. If the school had two positive student/staff cases and/or if the Fulton County COVID rate went above 0.25% (30 individuals in the county) as a whole, then masks would be required until the rate on campus cases fell below two active cases and/or the Fulton County COVID rate fell below 0.25%. Otherwise, it will be up to the individual whether they choose to wear a mask.
42.8% (red)- Keep the mask mandate as is.
45.8% (orange)- Individual choice to wear a mask
0.9% (white)- Other


The mask mandate for students age 10 and up will continue to be in effect until further notice due to a tie vote among the school board members.

Over the next few weeks we will be introducing you to new faces on the hill for the 21-22 school year.
Today we introduce you to Mason Gaines, our new Agri Teacher and FFA Advisor. Mason is a graduate of Mammoth Spring High School and Arkansas Tech University.
Mason joins us from Shirley High School. Please help us welcome Mason back to the den!


We are thrilled to announce that one of our very own, Hayden Savage, is doing big things at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro! Hayden has recently won awards for the Best Specialty Music Show for Y2 Country Countdown and Best Jock/Radio Personality by Arkansas CMA! His station, Red Wolf Radio, was also chosen as the Radio Outlet of the Year. Hayden is a 2020 graduate of Mammoth Spring High School and is the son of Sam and Pam Savage. You are making Mammoth so proud, Hayden! Keep up the good work!

Mammoth Spring FBLA Chapter had 11 members qualify and compete at the Virtual State Leadership Conference in Little Rock, AR this year. We have 2 members that are now qualified to compete at the Virtual National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA this summer. Senior Rachel Davis (left) received 1st in Agribusiness and Sophomore Savannah Chance (right) received 1st in Introduction to Business Communications.

MSHS is offering our students the opportunity to take CAREER & TECHNICAL courses through OZARKA TECHNICAL COLLEGE at the Ash Flat campus in AUTOMOTIVE MECHANICS, MACHINIST, and CNA/PRE-LPN with the opportunity to earn employment certifications and training for the FUTURE JOB MARKET. Information on future opportunities to enroll in WELDING and CARPENTRY will be shared, as well.
