Today, our elementary staff celebrated Bear Blue Friday a little differently! The shirts they are wearing were sold to raise funds for The Rose Family Adoption! Mrs. Kayla Rose is one of our wonderful aides here at MS Elementary. Their family is very special to us and we are proud to be their a part of their "village" as they go through the adoption process!

We would like to send a huge "Thank You" to Jessica Garrett and the Strawberry River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for sponsoring our flower pots with these beautiful mums! Their organization covers Fulton, Izard, and Sharp counties and their focus is to promote education, historical preservation, and patriotism. Congratulations to our Rotary Student of the Month for September, Callie Jo Young!
Kindergarten grandparents will eat breakfast at 8 am tomorrow morning, instead of 7:30.
We will be celebrating Grandparents Day this Friday, September 9 with a breakfast beginning at 7:30! We ask that grandparents line up on the sidewalk between the cafeteria and the elementary building. Students will come pick up their grandparent(s) and walk with them to the cafeteria. Forms went home with elementary students yesterday to help us get a better number of guests to prepare for. Please send those back with your child by tomorrow, Thursday, September 8.

Any parent with a child enrolled in the Mammoth Spring School District is eligible to receive a box of food like the one pictured. We have 115 boxes and they will be given out on a first come, first served basis. You may pick up a box in the administration building from 8 am to 3 pm.
