Dear families, We’re going to Switzerland and Italy in Summer 2026, and you’re invited! We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to RSVP for this info session to be considered for this opportunity: https://rsvp.eftours.com/mhy8msr When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure. In this info session, we’ll talk about: How this opportunity will benefit your student What we’ll see and do on our trip Everything that’s included in this experience How your child can earn academic credit How we’re keeping this safe and affordable How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity! Athletic Update: We have wrapped up another regular season on The Hill! Our teams finished up with an exciting night of basketball against the Rector Cougars on Tuesday. Post season play begins on Saturday for our junior high teams, and we are excited to be able to host the 2A-2 Jr. High Tournament! Our girls will play Saturday at 3:00, with the boys following at 4:00. We are also very thankful to have great community partnerships throughout the season. Simmons Bank came last week and were a great help in our concession stand, and also donated some items for an upcoming raffle. Tuesday night we were able to host the Executive Director of Camp Quality Arkansas, who spoke about their mission. We hope to see everyone on Saturday in support of our Bears and Lady Bears!

For our February 4-H meeting, the Students decided they wanted to do something to help animals in shelters. We are partnering with Cherokee Village Animal Control to accomplish this goal. Our club will be collecting old bedding, t-shirts, towels, pet toys, cat food, dog food, and cat litter. Someone from the facility is going to come and speak to our members about what goes into the care of the animals. They will take our donations back to the shelter with them. Please have your 4-H Member be involved in gathering the repurposed items from your home and also if you purchase pet food or other items. We want them to connect that they are doing something that will help someone else. Thank you, Ms. Laura and Mrs. Ashley
