This weekend’s rains caused historic flooding and damage across our region. Our team has been assessing roads across the district, and after careful review, Mammoth Spring School District WILL BE in session on Monday, April 7, 2025. If your child’s bus is unable to safely reach your area, you will be contacted directly. Please be patient with our drivers, as some roads might be difficult to navigate.
We understand some families may still be unable to travel due to road conditions. If that is your situation, please contact your child’s building office.
As always, we are in this together. If there’s anything our district can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We have canceled Thursday’s games with Tuckerman. They will now be played as doubleheaders at their fields on 4/21. We will also not play on 4/7 against Sloan-Hendrix. Those games will be made up at a later date. Our next baseball/softball games will be at ICC on 4/10.

15 seniors visited Leonardo DRS in West Plains today! We learned about what careers they offer, what they do, and even got to try out their paint sprayer simulator. 💙🐻 #ExperienceMatters
Mammoth Spring School District is closely monitoring the forecast for Wednesday, April 2, 2025, as severe weather is expected in our area. We want to assure parents and guardians that we have established protocols to ensure the safety of our students and staff if a tornado warning is issued during school hours.
Forecast models are showing that severe weather may impact our area around dismissal time. Please know that we will never send our students into danger. If conditions are unsafe, we will hold all students until we believe it is safe to release them.
We encourage everyone to stay informed about the weather and to have a plan in place in case of any changes to the school schedule. We will provide updates as needed through our usual communication channels.

The Fulton County Health Department will host a vaccine clinic at Mammoth Spring School District on April 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. This clinic will aim to catch up with our students that are missing a Hep A vaccine. It will also catch our 16-year-olds that need their meningitis vaccine.
Consent paperwork will be coming home via folders of the Elementary children. High school students will receive their paperwork by mail. Please return your packet as soon as possible.

Due to an umpire shortage, there will be no baseball games tomorrow. Softball will play a doubleheader tomorrow, and baseball will play a double header at Cedar Ridge on 4/17.
