Tuesday night, we hosted the Marmaduke Greyhounds in a AAA Benefit Game. Next week, our season kicks off in earnest as our junior high teams host Calico Rock on Monday night, while senior girls and boys travel to play in the Pangburn and Norfork Classics on Tuesday and Friday nights. Junior high competition will continue on Saturday in the first round of the Bill McCurley Tournament at Sloan-Hendrix. We are looking forward to a fun and entertaining basketball season. Go Bears!

The city has completed its repairs. We will release school at the regular time today.

This is just a precautionary heads-up that the city of Mammoth Spring Water Department is having pump issues today. IF they have to cut off the water supply for an extended period of time we will have to release school early. At this time we expect to complete the day as scheduled, but wanted you to be aware of the situation.

Athletic Update:
Golf season is officially wrapped up. Blake Rogers competed at the state match on Monday, October 2nd. He played well, shooting a 98 on the day. Overall, our golf teams improved on the year and we were well represented in matches.
Basketball season begins next week, with Blue and White Games starting at 5:30 on Monday, October 9th. Admission is donation only. There will be a ring ceremony for the 2023 1A State Champion girls basketball team between the junior girls and junior boys games. Tuesday, October 10th, all four teams will host Marmaduke in a benefit game beginning at 4:30. Admission is $5 per person, and is set by AAA for benefit games.
