Mammoth Spring School's Open House will be on Monday, August 12, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. If you have a student in 7th grade, there will be a short meeting for parents and students beginning at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria. Teachers and staff are working hard to make the 24-25 school year the best.
We look forward to seeing all the smiling faces on Monday evening.


The board meeting scheduled for Monday, August 12, will begin at 5:00 p.m. due to Open House.

There will be a special board meeting regarding personnel on Thursday, August 1, beginning at 5:30.

New Student Registration will be Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9th at all campuses.

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Richey be transitioning into a new role as a paraprofessional at the Mammoth Spring Elementary School. She is excited to work directly with students at the Mammoth Spring School District.


Many students receive Summer EBT automatically, but some families need to fill out an application. If you attend a school that provides free lunch to all students, for example, you can qualify for Summer EBT if your household income is below 185 percent of the federal poverty level. But you must apply before August 26 to receive the benefit.
Children who attended Head Start or Early Head Start programs during the 2023-2024 school year are eligible for Summer EBT, and some of these families will receive the benefit automatically. However, if you had a child who attended any of the Head Start programs listed at this link at any point during the 2023-2024 school year, your child is eligible but you need to apply

We are excited to announce our new Art Teacher. Mrs. Amy McKenzie will be moving into a new role as our Art Teacher. She is excited to work with all students and is looking forward to sharing all students creative art in the halls for all to see. She also is planning an Art Fair for the 2024-2025 school year.

Mammoth Spring High School is seeking a new addition to our team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about empowering our students with the skills they need to succeed and achieve the brightest future possible.
The rootEd Advisor is embedded in school districts to proactively help high school students through each step of career exploration, postsecondary attainment, and workforce skills and credentialing. Performance will be evaluated by monthly tracking of key metrics related to student and program performance. Partnering with high school counselors, this position works with students in developing and expanding LEARNS, Pathways, and Student Success Plan while supporting students to enroll in college (college fit discussion, applications, and orientation), to earn a workplace credential, to enlist in the armed services, to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and more. Mrs. Smoot is available in her office July 10th and 11th from 9 to 3:30 to meet with upcoming 10th through 12th grade students for scheduling.

Elementary Parents: There's still time to sign your child up for the 2024 Bear Cub Basketball Camp! Camp will be next Wednesday-Thursday, July 17-18, from 8:30-11:30. You are welcome to sign up that morning, but having the form in advance will help us to make sure that every camper gets their t-shirt on time. Come get better at basketball with our coaches and players!
