As many of you know, we are planning an addition to our elementary building that will connect the elementary and the multi-purpose building. We are pleased to announce that the State of Arkansas Facilities/Legislators have partnered with us to provide over $500,000 toward the funding of the addition.
If you are interested in enrolling your child (K-6) in our virtual learning program for the 2021-22 school year, please contact the elementary office at 870-625-7213. Be on the look out for information on the 7-12 virtual learning program.

Come on down and give blood to be entered into a drawing for a camper! Each person who donates will be given a $5 Amazon gift card!

Some of our buses may be running late this morning due to flooding.
There will be no elementary tutoring today due to impending severe weather. Please call the elementary office if you need to make other arrangements for your child. If it is unsafe to let students leave the building at dismissal, we will hold all students in all buildings until it is safe to go outside.

Many have asked about the parent survey we sent out regarding the mask mandate. We had 465 responses and the results were brought before the board for consideration at the meeting Monday evening. The graphic below shows the results from the survey.
10.5% (blue) - Students would be required to bring a mask to school every day. If the school had two positive student/staff cases and/or if the Fulton County COVID rate went above 0.25% (30 individuals in the county) as a whole, then masks would be required until the rate on campus cases fell below two active cases and/or the Fulton County COVID rate fell below 0.25%. Otherwise, it will be up to the individual whether they choose to wear a mask.
42.8% (red)- Keep the mask mandate as is.
45.8% (orange)- Individual choice to wear a mask
0.9% (white)- Other

The mask mandate for students age 10 and up will continue to be in effect until further notice due to a tie vote among the school board members.
